Carol Clark – Oils & Watercolour

Sydney born, Carol studied at the National Art School in Sydney (1966-70), after which she began a teaching career, where she became head of the Art Department.
Carol next advanced into the graphic design industry, establishing her own business in 1978. In 1992 she sold the business and continued her involvement in this field until moving to Queensland in 1998.
The year 2000 saw Carol taking up her paint brush again when time permitted and once more established her own graphic design business, this time on the Sunshine Coast.
Carol’s medium of preference is oil, and her passion is for the works of the old masters and impressionists.
Carol loves portraiture and more recently has been interested in botanical illustration.
Membership of the Buderim Craft Cottage has enabled Carol is share her talents with the group as well as the preparation of advertising for our exhibitions and in the design and production of this Profile portfolio.
