Fay Baker – Water Colour

Fay Baker was born in England and moved to Australia in 1978, after living in Africa, Hong Kong and NZ. She has been a professional musician all her working life. She teaches singing on the Sunshine Coast and is very involved with the Oriana Concert Choir, for which she is Assistant Conductor and Accompanist.
Feeling the need to broaden her interests, Fay began painting in watercolour 10 years ago. She is very fortunate to have been studying with master watercolourist Tony Lewis for 6 years and has been a member of the Buderim Craft Cottage Painting Group for 2 years. She has had some success in Art Shows in Buderim, Maleny and Noosa in the last 3 years and also in Brisbane’s Rotary Art Spectacular in 2009.
