I started painting in 2006 after working with fabrics for many years.
Working primarily in acrylics, I have focused on rustic landscapes, ruins, and buildings, both rural and urban.

I enjoy capturing the minute details of the elements and relationships in a scene that contribute to its overall impression.

I am fascinated by architecture and perspective and enjoy searching for the iconic symbols of a community which can be depicted in an unusual manner.
My inspiration comes from the work of Jeffrey Smart, John Pointon and Charles Wysocki.
