Irene Beilby

I joined the MMM Monday night  group last year .  My love affair with paint began  15 years  ago and  my style is contemporary /abstract.   Over  the years I have developed my own manner of applying paint and love experimenting using different techniques. I have sold many of my paintings and last year sold  works in several shows including the RNA art show. I also won first  and second prize in the Nundah  Village Art Show .  My contemporary painting  QF500SYD won 1st prize and my abstract painting ‘Coastline’ won 2nd prize.

Working in this friendly group environment has enabled me to observe others and I have learned many new ways of attacking a canvas.  It is a great place to learn  while enjoying the companionship of other like minded artists.
