Full of Life

BCC's answer to the Archies is 'Full of Life'

Explore the fascinating world of life drawing and portraiture at Buderim Craft Cottage's own answer to the Archies at the 'Full of Life' exhibition, November 3 - 6.

Fabulous faces and figures by members of the Life drawing and Portraiture group will grace the walls of the Cottage's Atrium Galley from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm Friday (November 3) to Sunday (November 5) and from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm on Monday (November 6).

The exhibition will feature works by local artists in pastel, acrylic, charcoal, pen and ink and more. Subjects include professional art models and volunteer models from the local community.

Life drawing and portraiture group leader Andrea Douglas says the group's versatility and depth of talent is impressive.

Exhibitors include master pastelist, Christine Clark, and an award winning pastelist, Dee Roy.

For those who have always wanted to try their own hand at portraiture, free 'come draw' community sessions will be held on the Saturday and Sunday of the exhibition in the Atrium Gallery courtyard.

Materials will be provided and a model will pose for budding artists.

Members of the Life drawing and Portraiture group will be on hand to demonstrate. Sessions will run from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm on the Saturday and Sunday, November 4 and 5.
