About Julie Williams

Julie Williams has been designing inspiring, expressive, creative and traditional calligraphy and lettering art for over 40 years. Julie creates calligraphy, lettering and art for corporate events, private commissions and exhibition artworks. Her work has been exhibited in regional galleries in Australia and has been published in numerous magazines, books and journals.

Julie has studied with many of the world's leading contemporary calligraphy and lettering masters, as well as noted artists and tutors of fine arts subjects including printmaking, bookbinding, painting, drawing, traditional Turkish marbling and encaustics.

Julie began teaching in the 1980's at TAFE Colleges, and then community colleges and groups. She has taught at both tertiary vocational and recreational levels and her creative, informative and practical workshops offer participants the opportunity to learn in a relaxed and supportive environment.
